Today marks 36 years since we said “I do.” As I reflect over the past 40 years of my life - Mark is in every memory. He’s been there on the good days and the not so good days. I have countless memories of him with our kids (and dogs) that warm my heart. His steadfastness comforts me in times of trial. His faith holds me in a constant awareness of God’s love and grace toward us. I thank God for all his characteristics and gifts - even those I tried to change or eliminate. My man is not easily fooled. Rather he is wise and deliberate. He loves animals (watch out ladies - this is a good sign he will love his kids well too) worries about children who don’t have enough to eat and enjoys the outdoors - the sanctuary of his life. I am grateful he wandered into my life at 17 and turned his attention toward me. Who knew the beautiful family we would build or the Godly influence he would be to so many. He was recently called an architect, a strategist and a giant of faith at our presbytery service. I agree. Happy anniversary Mark. I still choose you. #happyanniversary

Mark and I visited the Kimball Museum on Sunday afternoon to see the Monet exhibit. It was so beautiful. Although I don’t know much about art - i loved the use of the beautiful blues, purples, greens and pops of yellow. The paintings just draw you into a relaxed and reflective frame of mind. #worththetrip #worththeticket #artisticgifts

Today Mark and I were blessed by our family and friends with prophetic words of encouragement at @gatewaysouthlake We were deeply blessed. Pondering all the words and giving thanks for what is yet to be. Thank you @papajobe for your love and support. Thank you @jimmywitcher @stephaniehenderson1 and @larry.stockstill for using your gifts to build up the body of Christ. #presbytery #prophecy #encouragement

Enjoyed working with these people this weekend. They covered a 100 little things and several big things with grace and tremendous adaptability. We had fun. Best team ever! @gatewaypeople
